We are holding a Walk-a-thon on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the North Syracuse Junior High school track on Taft Road.

A lap on the track is approximate 1/4 mile. Student walkers that raise $100 or more will be rewarded with an event t-shirt, and the top 5 fundraising walkers will receive a prize the day of the event. You can take pledges per lap walked, or solicit flat participation pledges.

The funds are due by May 31, 2012 to the Main Office at the Main Street school, and we ask that you solicit pledges only from family and friends with no door-to-door type soliciting. Absentee walkers, if you can’t attend, someone may walk in your name. In the event of rain, the event will be held inside with laps around the gymnasium.

The event is handicap/stroller accessible.
